Based on our discussion, I’m really impressed. I think you’ve handled the palette on all of these superbly. I think you only really need to think of extending your range of values and how you handle bounce/ambient lighting to get to the next level. Oh, and for humans it really does help to study the planarity of the face and be bold with establishing the values of those planes first. I would guess it would be the same for your more cartoony stuff, but I’m not sure. Keep on man. This is great. (Love the shy girl. She’s sweet in a way I can never manage.)
